    An exciting view of the world through stamps

The GDPS has an exciting program of speakers on topics ranging from British Colonial Stamps and Postal History, to collecting Thematics.  What are Thematics?  They might be collection of  butterfly stamps, or perhaps stamps connected with the Scouting movement.  Internationally respected speakers bring  mouth watering rarities to Guildford for us to see, and add a lot to our knowledge of world affairs down the years.

But what about beginners ?

Beginners are particularly welcome, one of our members will meet you at the door and our members will help in establishing that all important first collection.  It may be a quite simple collection at first but then develop with the years.  Turn to our advice for beginners by clicking here.  Our inexpensive stamp packets will be a great help, find out more here.  Try Quick Philately as a way of exhibiting your stamps here
