Cinderella collecting embraces a variety of stamps used for revenue
purposes perhaps, for advertising, or as poster stamps when they
are miniature versions of full size posters used to promote a major
exhibitions - the great International Fairs in Belgium in the late 19th
century and the early part of the 20th Century for example. Cinderellas are often
great examples of graphic art reflecting the fashions of the time, as these
examples of Art Nouvea demonstrate.

Cinderellas were not used for regular postage and had no intrinsic value
except when used for revenue purposes. GDPS has a number of members who
collect Cinderellas.
