The
stamp packet is a means for members to circulate stamps not wanted in their
own collections to other members, and make them available at very sensible
prices. The packet which usually contains 17 stamp booklets, is
circulated monthly and is useful to new members who can form the basis of a
collection without too much initial expense, and to experienced members will
often find that missing item. The packet usually contains booklets
arranged so that Foreign countries are grouped together with Commonwealth
items in separate booklets. In each packet there are two or three
booklets each containing more expensive stamps and some rarities.
The packet is available only to members of Guildford & District
PS on request .
